OUR PROGRAM
Social and Emotional Development
At this early stage, we focus primarily on nurturing each child's social and emotional growth. We encourage them to take initiative, fostering their independence and building self-confidence. Our goal is to support the development of self-expression, curiosity, creativity, and self-control. We also guide children in forming positive relationships with peers, teaching them to be patient, kind, trustworthy, helpful, and compassionate. Through these interactions, children are learning to build strong, loving relationships and communities, rooted in dignity and respect for one another.
Mathematcs
Children naturally develop their mathematical thinking through the inherent order and precision found in their daily routines. Play and exploration of engaging materials allow them to grasp fundamental concepts like one-to-one correspondence, pattern recognition, estimation, problem-solving, and logical reasoning. These concrete, hands-on experiences in mathematics lay a crucial groundwork for understanding more abstract mathematical ideas later in life.
Reading and Writing
Developing reading skills involves a complex interplay of vision, hearing, speech, and sensory-motor abilities. By engaging with diverse materials designed to refine their senses, children build a foundation for both reading and writing. They learn to recognize letters by their names and sounds, expand their vocabulary through spoken language and exposure to speech and sentence patterns, and develop listening skills through stories and books. Furthermore, conversation, interaction, and play enhance their auditory, visual, and articulation skills. Our curriculum aims to cultivate a love for reading, writing, and speaking by encouraging exploration within a print-rich environment and through exposure to various types of books.
Social Studies
Through engaging with diverse stories, pictures, maps, globes, puzzles, art, and food, children explore and discover the world around them. They are introduced to the customs and traditions of various countries and the seven continents, uncovering the similarities and differences in global cultures, climates, and environments. Our multicultural awareness goals include fostering respect for diverse traditions and cultures, recognizing the interconnectedness of all cultures, and developing an understanding of one's own place in the world. Furthermore, children learn essential social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution.
Art
Our vibrant art curriculum introduces children to a diverse range of mediums, fostering self-exploration, self-expression, and creativity. We aim to cultivate a love for the arts as a powerful outlet for their unique individuality. Recognizing developmental stages, our activities allow children the freedom to explore, develop, and work at their own pace, utilizing materials such as crayons, pencils, markers, construction paper, collage items, and paint. These experiences provide opportunities to enhance fine motor skills, concentration, independence, and hand-eye coordination. Art, for us, is a valuable sensory experience that builds self-confidence in one's creative abilities. We prioritize the learning process over the final product, focusing on how children engage and discover.
